Function: SDBP Committees are the operational units of the Society. They are tasked with carrying out essential functions of the Society in order to address the goals of the SDBP Strategic Plan. Committee leaders marshal the development of Strategic Plan projects for Board approval, and then oversee their implementation and management once approved.
Membership: Membership in most Committees is open to all members of SDBP, but with the consent of the Board a Committee may limit membership if necessary to carry out the core functions of the Committee. Committee leaders may appoint sub-committees to implement specific projects.
