Communications Committee

Description

The Communications Committee manages the Society’s tools for communication, collaboration, messaging, and branding. Our goal is to facilitate members’ ability to collaborate with each other on SDBP projects and initiatives and to enhance the visibility of the Society’s work.

In collaboration with the other Sections, SIGs, and Committees, we publish the quarterly newsletter and manage the discussion board to keep members abreast of each other’s concerns, questions, and achievements. We welcome members to contribute articles and clinical vignettes to this end.

The Communications Committee also keeps track of the variety of online tools and apps that members use in their Society-related collaborations with each other and advises the Board of Directors regarding the long-term technology needs for achieving the Society’s goals and enhancing the Society’s messaging.

We have a monthly Zoom meeting and meet annually at the SDBP conference. Members interested in working with the Communications committee should contact one of the co-chairs for additional information.
