Description

The Autism SIG provides a forum for members who take care of children with autism to engage with one another through email and Discussion Board conversation, at our SIG event and program activities scheduled within the SDBP annual meeting, and through participation in ongoing projects. There are opportunities for members to learn about current research, policy, treatment and public health in autism from experts in the field.  SIG members are engaged in the Society’s support of advancing new models of care to improve access to autism and developmental disability services.

Recent Activity
  • The Autism SIG is collaborating with AUCD on a project looking at state and insurance requirements for accessing autism-related services, including ABA.
  • The SIG has facilitated SDBP Board’s official endorsement of ABA Billing Codes Commission.
