Description

The trainee/recent graduate section is committed to supporting trainees and recent graduates from different disciplines in becoming leaders in the field of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics through collaboration, and mentorship. The section serves three purposes: First, giving representation and voice to trainees and recent graduates in developmental-behavioral pediatrics and related disciplines; second, serving as an organized forum for addressing issues related to training; and third, promoting professional development of trainees by connecting them to resources and active participation in SDBP activities to generate the next generation of leaders within the Society.

Trainees have the opportunity to serve as an appointed liaison between the TRGS and each SDBP committee. TRGS leadership is also involved in the planning and execution of the Exploring DBP program.

The TRGS consists of current SDBP associate member trainees as well as recent graduates (within two years) of developmental-behavioral pediatrics specialties and related psychological disciplines.
