Description:

The Communications Committee collaborates with all SDBP Committees, SIG’s (Special Interest Groups), and the team at Degnon Associates to publish the newsletter, develop, maintain, and promote the SDBP discussion board, social media accounts, and our new and improved website. Discussion Board use is increasing amongst members with the goal of encouraging new members to oversee content and create a network of experts in the field of DBP who can respond to questions in their area of expertise. We publish four newsletters annually and welcome content including articles and clinical vignettes from members.

We have a monthly conference call and meet annually at the SDBP conference. Members interested in working with the Communications committee should contact one of the co-chairs for additional information.

Recent Activity:

Follow SDBP on Twitter @SDBPeds If you have content (announcements, links to articles, etc.) you would like our Tweetiatrician to consider posting email: info@sdbp.org with “Twitter” in the subject heading.

Planning the launch of the new website has been a major goal of the communication committee in the past year. The new website is here and we are continuously working on identifying and implementing ways to provide content that is both useful and user-friendly to our members. Have suggestions or feedback? Email: info@sdbp.org

The SDBP Discussion Board is a useful resource for members to gain feedback from other members and experts. We are currently working on expanding the utility of the discussion board by inviting experts in the field to respond to questions specific to their area of interest. Stay tuned for alerts to when specific experts will be available to take your questions.
